She began building websites professionally in 2004 and began working with WordPress in 2007. Laura has a BA in English from UT Austin and an MA in Latin American Studies from UCLA.

Mauricio Portasio Mau is a systems analyst and programmer with over 20 years experience in small platform standalone and client-server database systems. He has over 10 years experience with open-source, web-based system design and programming, specialized in LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP).
